The New Booking System – FAQs

Published by perfectlypilates on

As with anything new, it’s going to take us all a little time to get the hang of it (including me!) so we’ve created a short video to help with how to book your classes.  The link is provided at the end of this news article.  But first, it’s important that I try to answer some questions you might have:

Q    Can I still get my six-class pass at a discounted rate online?

A     Yes, of course! You can book and pay for a single class at the full Pay-As-You-Go rate, or you can book and pay for six classes to get your usual discounted rate.

Q    Can I book using the system and pay in cash when I come to the class?

A     No, the booking system is for booking and payment online; however, you can still pay in person at class if you choose another booking method such as contacting me via phone call/text or email.  You can still drop in to a class as long as it’s not fully booked. During busy classes, however, we cannot always guarantee a space for drop-ins. See question below.

Oh and when you book online, make sure you’ve got your payment details handy.

Q    So what are my options if I don’t want to pay online?

A     If you really don’t want to pay online, that’s fine but the booking system just isn’t for you. It’s okay though, you can use text message, Messenger or email to let me know which classes you’d like to book onto. This will secure your place in class as long as there are spaces and you can pay in person at the class.

Please treat this as a booked commitment as I may need to turn other people away to keep your space for busy classes.

Q    Can I book my six classes separately and still get the discount?

A     No, sorry but this isn’t available. The six-class pass booking gives you a discounted rate for your loyalty, commitment and upfront payment. The six classes need to be booked and paid for upfront and attended within eight weeks – this allows for you to book your six classes at the discounted rate but still take a holiday or honour other commitments in between. So, when paying for six classes, to secure your place at those classes and get your discount, you need to book your six classes in one go.  I.e. check your diary and make sure that you can make it to six classes within the next eight weeks. If you can’t, that’s fine – just book in for single classes until you have a period where you can make it to six classes within eight weeks.

Q    How does having a holiday booked or work commitments affect my ability to book and buy a six-class pass?

A     That’s fine – we understand that life happens. The six-class pass needs to be used within eight weeks, allowing you to book your six classes at the discounted rate but still take a holiday or honour other commitments in between. We recommend checking your diary at the time of booking to make sure that you can make it to six classes within the next eight weeks. If you can’t, that’s fine – just book in for single classes until you have a period where you can make it to six classes within eight weeks.

Q    How long is the six-class booking valid?

A     The six-class booking or pass needs to be used within eight weeks from purchase.  This allows for holidays and other commitments that we know you can have from time to time.

Q    I am part way through a multi-class pass at the moment, do I need to book the remaining classes for this pass online?

A     No. Please don’t do that as it’s online booking and payment so you’d be paying for classes twice. If you already have a multi-class pass, it’s valid until the end of your pass period. You just need to message, email or see me in your next class to tell me which dates you’d like to use the remainder of your pass for and I’ll note you as booked in for those. Then you can book for your next six classes using the system and start using the system from there.

Q    What if I need to cancel a class that I’ve booked online?

A     The system currently does not allow cancellations to be made after booking. It’s not a perfect system – those are generally very expensive and aimed at larger businesses than Perfectly Pilates but if you need to cancel a class, please contact me directly and we’ll sort it out. Wherever possible I will try to move your booked class to another date within the eight-week period. Please check our booking policy T&Cs for information regarding our cancellation policy.

Q     Can you show me how to use the system?

A     We’ve created a short video to show you how to book and pay for your classes online. You can find the video here.

Q     What if something goes wrong when booking or I don’t receive my email confirmation?

A     There are bound to be teething problems whenever a new system is launched or changed so I expect there will be a few niggles. If something goes wrong, please email, call or text me to tell me what’s happened. I teach and drive a lot these days so I might not be able to pick up a call immediately but just leave me a message.  In your message, also let me know which dates you’re booking for so that if we can’t fix it in time, I can note you in my diary as being booked in to secure your place and to arrange alternative payment by bank transfer or cash. We’ll always try to fix any problems as quickly as we can.

TO ACCESS THE BOOKING SYSTEM, click here for the tutorial video or here to access the booking system. It works on all desktops, laptops and mobile devices.

Please start using this system when you’re ready to book your next individual class or six-class pass. If you’ve got any questions that we haven’t covered, feel free to drop me a line or see me in class. There are bound to be things we haven’t considered and it’s not a perfect system – those are generally very expensive but I’m open to talking about niggles and asking questions and trying to improve things where we can.  Your feedback will be really useful to me especially in the first few weeks!
