It’s one of those Sorry-not-sorry posts...
If it’s good enough for Lewis Hamilton, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Scott Jurek (world’s fastest ultramarathon runner) it’s good enough for me.
If you’re on the fence about cutting down on meat, diary and eggs or cutting it out entirely but feeling confused or conflicted or just not sure why you’d want to, maybe give yourself an hour to watch The Game Changer documentary on Netflix. It’s the best thing I’ve seen on health, wellbeing and diet in a lonnnnnng time.
If you are trying to overcome health problems or all kinds or weight problems, give it a watch.
When people ask me why I have changed to plant-based eating, I find it difficult because I started for health reasons, then realised the huge environmental impact and that’s it’s actually THE ONLY way to stop and reverse climate change. Then you learn about all of the health problems and illnesses that are helped and cured by eating plants and not meat (and the reversal of the illness and heart conditions etc, happens fast!), and then the fact that plant protein actually makes you a better, faster, stronger athlete or performer. It’s just incredible. But it’s hard to say all of that without sounding preachy or evangelical or just plain crazy... This film really shows how plant eaters’ athletic endurance can easily blow away that of meat eaters, and even, dare I say it, massively improves sexual health
so, this documentary does a great job of explaining all of this and more in a fascinating and real way.
Who’d have thought #arnieschwarzenegger would become vegetarian!

I haven’t posted about food for a while and I was reminded about plant-based eating today when a friend told me about her husband who’d watched the Netflix documentary, The Game Changer, and is now interested in plant-based eating and how it affects the human body’s capabilities.
I eat this way 75% - 80% of the time now and it’s because of the massive health benefits of not eating meat, fish diary or eggs, AND because of the huge detrimental impact that those foods have on health, inflammation, chronic disease, illness, mental state, physical performance, fitness levels, energy levels and the ability to create the body you want inside and out. Eating plant based can actually reverse all those horrible things!
I feel better, I have more energy when I eat like this and I know my skin is better, my body tightens right up around my stomach and waist.
If you’re in doubt, maybe watch that documentary too. World’s best athletes and strongest men who are almost superhuman due to their plant-based diets! 💪🏼 vegetable 🍅🥒🥬🥑🥦🥕
So here’s a picture of my evening meal tonight. Roasted veggies with herbs and spices and stir-fry veggies. I’ll blend them in one bowl and have the rest for lunch tomorrow. Look at the colours! This will beat the winter blues! •

Having to cancel tomorrow’s 12:30pm sculpt, tone and ease aches and pains class at The Looking Glass, Sunderland! 😢
Our brilliant Fi has torn her a calf muscle and is hobbling about on crutches in pain. She’s trying to get back to it but needs recovery time, obviously.
Hoping to have her back soon but wishing her well and to take time to heal properly...
I’ll keep you updated for next week!
Saturday’s class as Shiney Row is going ahead as I’m planned in for cover then anyway. ... See MoreSee Less
